Wayne Dyer has been one of the voices who has deeply inspired me in recent years. More than anything, he speaks about living in inspiration – living from the truth of who we are, from our inner spirit.
Most of us, at times (and perhaps too often), drift off course from what is truly right for us. And when we’re out of alignment, we feel it – in our body, in our energy, in our emotions, and even in our thoughts. The signals are loud and clear. Yet, many of us dismiss them until life forces us to stop. For some, it takes a major crisis before a turning point can happen. And sadly, some never get there.
I believe the science that tells us emotions are energy – and that we, as human beings, are energy. Research shows that inner peace is among the highest energetic states we can experience.
And when we talk about High Performance, the key is not so much what we do, but the state we operate from. Our level of presence. The quality of our energy shapes the quality of our leadership.
Wayne Dyer described 10 symptoms of living in alignment with our higher self. How many of these do you recognize in your own life?
A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than from fear rooted in past experiences
An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment fully
A loss of interest in judging other people
A loss of interest in interpreting others’ actions
A loss of interest in conflict
A loss of the ability to worry
Frequent, overwhelming episodes of gratitude
Feelings of deep connectedness with others and with nature
Frequent attacks of smiling
An increased receptivity to the love given by others, along with an uncontrollable urge to pass it on
Wayne Dyer passed away in August 2015, but his legacy is more alive than ever.
If you haven’t yet watched his movie The Shift, I highly recommend it. Even better – watch it with someone you love. (You’ll find it for free on YouTube – and yes, the two hours are worth prioritizing!)

For those of us stepping into new culture leadership, these ten symptoms are not just “personal feel-good markers.” They are the foundation of how we show up, create trust, and inspire others. A leader grounded in gratitude, spontaneity, peace, and connection radiates a frequency that transforms cultures – not through force, but through presence.
So, let me leave you with this question:
👉 When do you feel inner peace?
For me, it often happens in the mountains, at the cabin, or by the water – and especially when I share a simple moment with the people who mean the most to me.
Live from your best self today – and create a day you’ll be grateful for.
Warm smiles and a big hug for you
:-) Nina
